Hi this is just a PSA for right now as everything’s on hold blog wise, yes, yes I know hold the angry comments. I moved into a new place almost a month ago now, I still have to get a lot of stuff situated as I’m still in my last 2 weeks of my undergrad, then two months off then off to grad school. I’m still working on my room and well every where else in the apartment. thank you so much for understanding I will see you all soon! So this Sunday’s topic is drinking a warm beverage and listening to a chill playlist. If you’ve watched any of my YouTube videos I usually do have a warm tea or drink while I work, mainly to help me hydrated but also there’s just something about having a warm drink that’s comforting. Normally I don’t listen to music but say when I’m working on my blog or painting it’s also comforting.
They help me with self care because they’re things I’ve done for a while now but just morphed into their respective areas in my life. I know it doesn’t seem like a lot but having those have helped me get back on track many times. I really enjoy both of them to, they help me expand my pallet of both teas and music. Though arguably I haven’t been as of recently….

Hi, so this Sunday I want to talk about doing makeup.
I don’t know if I’ve talked about it or not but if I have I’m doing it again. As of late I’ve been into no makeup makeup looks. For a base I use glossier then I mainly do light blush, highlighter and eye-shadow. Normally I like to jam out to my current album thank you, next by Arianna Grande. There’s just something about the music in my tiny bathroom that’s fun to me. I have all my makeup sprawled everywhere only to either be left while I leave on my outing or neatly put away after use. I feel like I’m just in this really long 10 minuet routine of doing my makeup. I don’t know do you feel the same way?

So it’s been a while since I did this, I have actually been working on this since I stopped I just haven’t been posting it really.. Right now though as I’m typing this up on a sunny Saturday the one thing I like to do is watercolor paint. Yes you heard right Paint, and as of typing this out I’m planning on sketching out something from howls moving castle. I’m going to do some reading today to get ahead for one of my classes.
For me there’s just something about how I can take the time for it to be nice just helps me take that thing slow. It’s also nice to know that if I dont want to show anyone I can do that as well. I’ve been enjoying painting because it’s a different medium than I’m used to, I have never really seriously dove into this type of paint before.

Hey sorry for the absence recently, a lot of things have come up. For those who have stuck around this long, thank you. Now as you can see by the title it has not changed. So as of right now, I’m at the gym on a sunny warm Sunday on the elliptical machine listening to Melanie Martinez. Everythings been going alright, I’ve been working on a couple of projects but I’ll post more about that later.
Food, we need it to live so with the new year here are my top seven favorite snacks,meals, shakes, etc.
- Peanut butter filled pretzels
- Frozen raspberries but not limited to other fruits
- Iced tea from davids tea. (As of right now my go to is there new tea called blood orange green tea.)
- Mangos with chamoy and tajiin in any form.
- Matcha lattes (current go to is the limited peppermint match, again from davids tea)
- Oatmeal with brown sugar
- Kettle cooked jalapeno chips.

So as of lately anxiety has kicked my butt. Procrastination? yup I know them, well actually. Midterms are around the corner and I am so sorry I’ve neglected you guys for some time now. Just letting you know though I am active on Youtube the most as of recently. Currently I am getting ready for something huge to me and will let you guys know once everything is in place. I’m getting a paper done as I type this (on a break right now lol). And I’m still getting through this small little rough patch but it’s okay and I know that it’s not going to go on forever. (Just trying to take things day by day, focusing on the small things and taking things slow) Actually though I have been watching more slice of life style anime which if you didn’t know are my all time favorite. - If they aren’t putting effort, honestly aren’t worth it
- Vulnerability helps gain trust
- Tell them how you’re feeling when they feel it (don’t bottle shit up)
- Listen to music together
- If you are in a relationship remember it’s not one sided

Okay so I know I don’t tell you guys all about my life but by the title, yes I went to New York. If you follow me on instagram you should know this already, so here’s what happened.
I was staying with a family in Union City. The room was very beautiful, like something out of a vintage movie. (The house was pretty old) Anyways the house was amazing, but in my true fashion, I had something to work on. Yup I had to finish an essay for the first summer term english class I had. I didnt really have that good of time management skill(working on that, I promise)
Carrying on with our tale trip, my one pet peeve I didnt enjoy was going back and forth from Union City to NYC simply becuase it was money. And actually one of the days I forgot my wallet back at the airbnb SO I had to get a lyft back. Other than those problems the trip was a success. I didn’t vlog it but most of it did go on my instastory(@alonna_lucille)[you’re welcome]. I went to multiple art museums, went to a lot of cool bookstores, and ate an drank some pretty tasty things. The most memorable trip by far becuase I did a very big personal thing that helped me strengthen my relationship with my parents before I left. So needless to say that trip will always be in my mind whenever I make it back to New York City.

So recently I’ve been doing this but not in the right way. I feel like you guys can relate because we all do this, so thankfully I’m not alone.
I was in my old room, my bed was on my floor I had my music blasting. I wasn’t talking to anyone and I was in my own head twenty four seven. I barely got out of my room besides going to class or doing my laundry. It wasn’t until later as I type this that I realized I was busy…. Just not in the right thing.
See I feel like we all get like this to some degree, like if we watch too much Netflix besides working out or studying. Whatever the case may be I’m glad I noticed this when I did. To be honest I wasn’t going to post something today since I was going back to my own head. It took me a minute to realize why I was acting the way I did before I started to type out this post. I mean this isn’t me saying I’m always like this but yes there was a period in my life when I was just in my own head twenty four seven.
So I went off on a little tangent but I will end with this and what helps me. Ask yourself how you are doing in any current situation. This has helped me ground myself and actually think about what I have to do versus what I did do. Then I clean for like ten minutes on a space where I work or a spot in my room I’ve been delaying for a while. Lastly, I make some tea, put on some tunes(usually indie or something from the girlboss playlist) and I get to work on something. I hope this helped you guys in anyway. Recently I’ve been wanting to leave the state I’m in and I don’t really know why. With summer classes I don’t really have to be on campus but I am. I guess it’s just because I want to be anonymous again. That feeling of no one knows me is just so satisfying to me. It gives me more inspiration to be who I want to become. A friend and I are trying to plan a trip to Brooklyn, New York later on this summer. I just don’t know what I’m going to do with another person. I’m so used to traveling apart of me is just wanting to say no. I don’t know what to do, I just know that I want to feel anonymous again without the pressure of others around me.
